Molino Del Santo
This hotel is an old olive and flour mill, situated in the mountains of the Sierra of Ronda, within the beautiful national park of Grazalema and amidst the most wonderful Andalusian scenery. Molino is well away from the mass tourisim of the Costas. The grounds of this award-winning hotel border onto a mountain stream and offer many shaded spots as well as sunbathing areas ideal for relaxing. The swimming pool is heated by solar panels and a heat pump. There are eighteen en-suite rooms at Molino which are comfortably furnished and have central heating and air conditioning. Each room has a safe, small fridge, direct telephone line, and tea and coffee making facilities. Most rooms have their own terrace and some are large enough to accommodate extra beds or cots. The food is Spanish, specialising in local and regional dishes, reflecting seasonal availability in the markets. The menu changes regularly but always offers a choice of homemade meat, fish and vegetarian options. A selection of snacks and a children's menu are also available, and as far as possible organic or free range products are used. Afternoon tea and coffee with delicious cakes are available each day .After many years in the area the owners offer a second to none, much-praised information service. They can help you plan walks of all kinds, point you towards the best spots for birds, flowers or butterflies and direct you to the most stunning drives for views of the unspoilt countryside. Horse riding, rock climbing, fishing and many other activities can be arranged in the area, whilst bustling Ronda with all of its attractions is only fifteen minutes' drive away.
